About Us

The eeVee Motors partners belong to a Silicon Valley community of EV experts, enthusiasts, advocates and business people. We actively participate at Electric Auto Association (EAA) meetings and volunteer to help others, with their conversion projects. EAA members also do advocacy to speak out for better government policies regarding electric vehicles.

eeVee Motors comprises the following principals:

Jerry Pohorsky is President of the Silicon Valley Chapter of the Electric Auto Association.

Jerry Pohorsky is President of the Silicon Valley Chapter of the (non-profit) Electric Auto Association (EAA), a volunteer position. He also serves as chair of the EAA Plug-in Hybrid Special Interest Group. He has been driving electric vehicles since 1999. He has bought, repaired and sold several electric vehicles and has been an adviser to other electric vehicle enthusiasts. Jerry has written several articles for the EAA Current EVents monthly newsletter and served a 3 year term on the EAA Board of Directors. He also appeared briefly in the Sony Classics movie, "Who Killed the Electric Car?", and delivered comments to the California Air Resources Board during their Zero Emission Vehicle Mandate Public Hearings in 2003.

Jerry has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electronic Engineering from Cal Poly State University (San Luis Obispo) and a Master's Degree in Computer Science from Santa Clara University. He is currently employed as a senior test engineer at General Electric Security - Homeland Protection, Inc. in Newark, CA. Previously, Jerry worked as a test engineer at Sun Microsystems, Siemens Communications and IBM.

Sean Bradshaw has been a professional automotive technician and is a web developer.

Near the turn of the century Sean got in with a crowd who challenged him. Sports Car Club of America Solo 2 racers, where he learned to appreciate cars of all stripes while learning to really actively drive, not just get hauled around by a car that he was vaguely in control of. With the dot com bubble in 2001, he became a casualty of the decline in the web application business. He retooled and took a job as an automotive technician where he learned the inner working of all kinds of cars, including how to swap a pair of motors out of his prized Toyota MR2 in his off time (the latest one which he blew up taking turn 2 at Laguna Seca Raceway at about 50mph). He's in the process of converting a second MR2 to electric power which he hopes will show non-believers what an electric commuter car should look like while still being fun to drive.

Sean has had a web presence longer than GM or McDonalds. As one of the early web developers he was around when tables were introduced in HTML version 3.2 which is where, as a self starter, he taught himself HTML, CSS and JavaScript. He's in charge of the company web presence, and with his design experience lends a suggestion here and there in the company's marketing effort.

Lance Cuenca is a machinist and entrepeneur and brings a wealth of skills to the actual build.

In 1994 Lance joined a Super Mileage Club at Ohlone College, the challenge was to build the most fuel efficient vehicle possible and then complete against other colleges and universities at the West Coast Super Mileage Competition that was sponsored by SAE and AAA. The team of six (included Hanif Gangji) that year obtained 164.31 miles per gallon and the following year the team placed 3rd at 222 miles per gallon. Lance's interest with mechanical mechanisms start as a young child with wanting to know how the insides of a phone and toaster worked. In later years, he would learn how to do automotive engine repair, sheet metal, and paint work. Once in college, Lance went to Chabot College to learn how to weld and then went to De Anza College where he earned a AA degree in Experimental Tool and Die. Lance went to San Jose State University and majored in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Mathematics and Physics. While going to school Lance has always worked, he work with Aqua Prima where he was able in implement new process and protocols for repair, maintenance, and installation of water purification units for people with immunodeficiency. Later Lance would work for Mathews Mechanical as a lead technician, a few projects that he was able to lead on was a wine bottling facility where production was increased ten fold and required 60% less work force to support bottling operations. He also worked as a lead fabricator and problem solver on the first grape bin auto retriever that was built on a Hobard tractor. Lance also gained extensive practical experience with hydraulics and electrical power. In 1999, Lance went to work for United Technologies Corporation where he worked as a Manufacturing and Facilities Engineer on manufacturing rocket motors and processing of energetic materials. In addition, Lance has owned a Machining and Welding business since 1997 and a floor cleaning business since 1987. Lance's first build of an all electric vehicle started in 2008 with Hanif Gangji; the vehicle ( Honda CRX) was a 128 volt Lithium DC system where the BMS was designed by Hanif. Lance also has a background in residential and industrial construction and project management. For most people that know Lance, they would say that "he lives to work and is always having fun in life".
